Well, we did it!   After many years of trips to Wyoming to visit my sister Laura and her family, and many years of her convincing us to move here, we finally pulled it off. Not to mention, it is beautiful!

One little word: rain! As beautiful as Washington is, enough was enough. We had a wonderful life there.  Farfar & Farmor (whom we will miss most of all), wonderful friends, beautiful home, great outdoors... Who knows - we may end up back there some day, but for now, we are up for this adventure.

We are looking forward to the simple life - no stop lights, traffic, or walmart, and almost no crime. Plenty of family time, cousins, open spaces, fruit and veggie garden, knitting, reading and whatever else I want to do.

Most of all, as all close sisters do, we have dreamed of being neighbors for a long time. Having grown up with no grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and now with 8 kids between us it is a precious emotion for us to get together with our kids and share our lives.  Our kids are so blessed!

Another most of all, sunshine, lots and lots of sunshine!  The sun is out about 250 days out of the year as opposed to about a measly 75 in Washington!

So far so good - check in with me next January when it is 4 feet of snow and 10 degrees below zero!  (At least the sun will still be shining!)

Wow...talk about wanting a change! Your family looks so cute and so big! I don't think I have seen your boys (Ian especially) with hair that long.
Does Seth get to work via computer? Matt quit at Costco and is working for INS/BT. Just started on Monday.
I hope your adventure is well worth it. Enjoy!

I am sold, is there a house for rent nearby? Your pics are awesome! The one of you and the kids in front of the waterfall looks like you are standing in front of a backdrop. I also love the one of the kids watching the rodeo with the light of the setting sun. Who took it? I have to say I am envious of your adventure. Especially that you get the sun and the cool antler chandilier. Read twilight too. All the YW in my ward were talking about it. Had to fit in!
Miss you guys!~
